Part 6

The last of the defenders ran into the factory with the natives chasing hard. It took very little time for them to break down the doors and kill the defenders.

O'Mahoney looked on with a certain satisfaction but could not help think that this had been a very easy victory which although it had solved his troublesome work force would make the locals appreciate their power. Life may have just become more complicated?

All in all a fun game. Triumph & Tragedy rules worked well and the hand to hand was pretty bloody. The card driven move system certainly added an edge to the game. If I played this again I would probably have less attackers as the final attack was pretty quick and bloody.

Great fun.

Part 5

Despite heavy losses the natives fought their way over the barricades killing as they went.

Part 4

Initially individual units of natives lead by Anglican missionaries probed the defenses and took heavy casualties in the proces, especially from a Lewis gun and Maxim MMG.

They very soon realised that a concentrated attack was the best tactic. A number of units charged the Maxim and although they took heavy casualties they successfully destroyed the gun and crew. With this out of the way everybody charged the defences.

Quickly they covered the clearing and despite taking casualties they got into hand to hand.
